NEW GUIDE WAR OF CROWN
# Save up garnets for the 10+1 free summon– at the moment this is very easy because they are giving new players 300 garnets to do this. Evolving heroes and giving them better stats requires multiple versions of the same hero, and fully leveling 1 of the heroes. After evolving, the heroes level will go back to 1. It will also be harder to level up higher quality heroes. Skills also require using the same hero as payment to upgrade skills randomly. That free summon will become very important. Especially when you realize each hero has multiple elements as well. Be careful after summoning not to press any buttons in the bottom left corner. It will summon a new hero at the listed cost. It’s not a receipt.
# If you want to level up heroes changes cost based on each hero’s stars- it’s 1000 gold/star/material used to level up heroes. So a 5 star hero costs 5000 gold per material used to level up. Keep in mind higher star heroes also require more XP to level up than lower starred counterparts. Gold is hard to get at first. Save up. It doesn’t seem like there’s any discount bonus or experience bonus when using multiple materials. Material order thus doesn’t appear to matter. When you finish adventure 3-5, you’ll unlock the Fairy Realm which allows farming for level up materials.
# Use the ‘nyangs’ to level up heroes– these cute creatures can be summoned for Friendship points at the FP Summon. They are easier to farm when you unlock the Fairy Realm after finishing the Elven Borders adventure. It costs Mandolins to enter the Fairy Realm. You must beat lower levels to unlock higher levels in the Fairy Realm. For quick tip, the first level is easy, the second level needs a proper elemental team, and the third level shouldn’t be run on auto-pilot even when your heroes are at level 20. The third level is possible if you have a decent team at level 20 or higher.
# Your summoner level doesn’t matter- it gives you access to more Mandolins (energy) for adventures. In the beginning of the game, this doesn’t matter because you can collect over your mandolin amount by leveling up. As I write this I have 140 mandolins out of 44. It also gives you greater access to Avon’s Song, the story mode, and the PVP arena. Therefore the level matters to me because I love stories, but it won’t give you a leg up on any stats in the arena.
# Check it every day to gain precious gold. Login and quest rewards have an expiration date- there will be a time limit marked under the ‘Collect’ button in your Mail Delivery Service inbox found at the top right of the screen. If you don’t go to the Missions tab in the
bottom left of the screen, you will not collect your daily quest rewards.
# Check what conditions will net you garnets before you enter the adventure zone level- there are 2 extra conditions underneath the adventure zone levels which, if met, will give you extra garnets for summoning. These conditions are simple to meet in the first zone, and you’ll want to level up your heroes a bit for the Elvens Border zones bonus missions.
# Adventure levels aren’t going to require your heroes to be the same level as the monsters you face– I got through the Elvens border with all of my heroes below level 20. Most of the enemies will be at level 26 toward the end of this zone.
# Battle estimations are often wrong- the battle forecast appears to only indicate what the pure stats would lead to in a battle. It does not seem to include elemental advantages, height advantage or disadvantage stats, or critical hit chance. Think of these battle estimations as simple estimations or guesses.
# Sometimes treasure chests appear in battle- you can hit these chests and gain garnets. You do have to destroy these chests to get any reward from it. If you leave it on the battlefield after destroying all monsters, you’ll lose the reward.
# Leader skills will only affect the highlighted elements- Eshirite’s leader skill will only give fire attribute heroes more physical attack. You can change your main hero through the ‘your heroes’ menu or by placing whichever hero you want as the leader to the far left in the battle prep screen. This system encourages you to create teams based on 1 or 2 elements. Light and dark teams have a slight elemental advantage over other teams. They will never have a disadvantage towards dealing damage. Light and dark teams are only countered by each other, and it’s a double edged sword. A light team will deal super effective damage to dark teams and normal damage to all other attributes. The drawback is dark teams can also deal super effective damage back to your light team. Fire, wind, and water teams have advantages and disadvantages to dealing damage. Fire will deal less damage to water attribute teams and super effective damage to wind attribute teams. This makes fire, wind and water teams less consistent damage dealers than light and dark teams.
# Pre-season arenas are fun and good practice- characters are automatically maxed out on stars and levels so you can try out different teams. Arenas teams are built by you and your opponent based off of a draft system similar to professional league of legends games. You take turns choosing units to bring. Turns in the arena last 30 seconds. Arena battles do take time. I’d approximate them being about 30 minutes long if neither combatant is willing to surrender. Keep your positioning in mind and seek the high ground. Some of your opponents will be on Auto-pilot. Outmaneuver them and you’ll win.
# Your equipment matters, later- It’s hard to find good equipment until you unlock the Wanted section Adventures after completing adventure 4-10. Your starting equipment is trash by the time you upgrade it to 4 stars. Switch to rare items as soon as possible. Rarer items have better stats, and, further in the game, you’ll get extra random bonus stats on higher-quality equipment. Eventually, you’ll run out of space in your inventory and will need 10 garnets to gain more slots. At the beginning of the game, you’ll often find better equipment handed to you. Equipping a new item will require you to destroy the currently equipped item. Or you could pay in crystals to unequip it first. Thankfully early game low-quality items don’t require any crystals to unequip. Be careful not to reflexively unequip.
# Some maneuvering stats explained-your heroes have a jump and action charge speed stats. Jump dictates how high the terrain your hero can jump to is. This means your hero may not require stairs and can jump to the top of a hill. Actioncharge speed dictates where in the action line up on the right side of the screen your hero will take their turn. The newest hero as I write this, Kalias, is very slow to act. He makes up for it with his power.
# The little hearts in the game represent friendship points- these points are gained by using your friend’s heroes during adventure zone battles. I’m unaware of other means to gain friend points. Friendship points can also be used for summoning ‘nyangs and to completely recharge your mandolins, the energy used for Adventure levels.
# Putting your mobile device to sleep will disconnect you from the server- thankfully, you can log back in and the game remembers where you were. You can pause in the middle of combat and return to this pause menu if you switch to a different app.
Every character has their own unique means of attacks and their own special attacks. These are your way of mix and matching units and figuring out what characters work well with each other. It’s a strategy game based around teams so knowing a good set up of units is a good way to start building strategy. Once you’ve gotten the hang of the game a bit you can start moving into its main game modes.
7. Eshirite – Enter your generic hero. And while his starter Fire version is exactly that, if you dig a bit deeperand you’ll find his alternate versions have true potential. Not only is he a capable damage dealer, Indomitable Will makes it incredibly difficult to finish him off.
8. Lyilis – Generic heroine, used either as an AoE DPS with her Light version or as a sniper as her Wind and Fire versions. Water and Dark’s passive boosts basic attacks by 20% for your whole team. But if you’re fully leveled, you’re rarely going to be using basic attacks.
9. Fairy (Support) – The fairy might seem like nothing special, but she is an awesome support. She provides +20% AoE hp/defense buff for nearby allies. She has an AoE heal. She is easy to farm and skill up. You can get her at Elven’s Border 2-1 by repeatedly farming that map.
10. Treant (Tank) – This guy is some you sent to the front lines to take damage. The biggest thing about him is his 30% hp regen per turn. Stack him with health and defense items to reduce damage taken to soak up damage vs monsters with high attack. Send him to the frontlines while your DPS units dish out damage. A great underrated unit for beginners. You can get him by farming Elven’s Border 2-2. Update: With the new update, Treants no longer dominate the PvP arena now. However,
they are still very useful for PvE content.
11. Hatchling (Ranged DPS) – This dragon has % health damage, meaning it scales well in tough maps in mythic stages where enemies have a lot more health. He is also ranged and has AoE damage, which makes him perfect to be in the back line dealing % damage. You can get him from farming Titania 4-7.
12. Reptilian Warrior (Melee DPS) – His leadership skills give him some tankiness with increased 12% hp to a specific element. He has single target armor break, allowing your units to dish out more damage to one unit. His passive gives 30% defense penetration, meaning he will do more damage even if the opponent has more defense. You can farm him via Ocean
Vale 3-1.
13. Monkey Elder(Support) – A great support that is overlooked due to it being slower than the fairy. That means he won’t buff right away as other units are generally faster than he is. He does give more attack/defense boost (30%). He can also heal very well. He is worth getting if you need another decent healer. He is farmable via Elven’s Border 2-8.
The story begins when the last Great War was world altering ordeal that left it permanently scarred. While the God of Destruction was ultimately sealed away, a looming shadow threatens to break the peace. War of Crown is a tactical turn-based strategy game. You playas the “Child of Destiny” Eshirite, a spirited young man. What starts out as an innocent, fun adventure may very well shape the world. War of Crown is a pretty complex game, so we’re here with our War of Crown cheats, tips and tricks strategy guide.
War of Crown is created by Asone Games and published by Gamevil. The game’s age rating is appropriate (12+ on the App Store for infrequent/mild realistic violence and infrequent/mild cartoon or fantasy violence).
Since the game hasn’t been out long, and I haven’t been playing it enough to feel comfortable giving a full review, here are some tips and tricks I’ve discovered while playing the game.
# You starts with a simple tutorial explaining how to maneuver your way through the games battle system. And the system itself isn’t that difficult though as the game goes on you’ll definitely need more strategy to get through some of the fights. In battle, you are given control of up to 4 different units that make up your team. Each unit has their own specific amount of tiles that they can move across the map.

Here are some of the characters you can choose to play
1. Eldin – The King of mages, but drastically differs per element. He’s either heavy offense or mid offense with good support. Either way though, he deals pure death from a distance. Fire and Water have especially slow charge speed. Fire’s is mostly negated by Communion though
2. Arendel – Due to the tactical nature of this game, tanking needs to be done indirectly, which Arendel does better than anyone else, by giving a team barrier and a passive defense buff. His Fire and Dark versions lack these skills, turning him into a tanky brawler instead
3. Feria – The support Queen. She’s able to save your allies from iminent doom, and can even take a hit herself with her Block skill. Her wind version, in particular, is extremely powerful, able to save your team members time and again. She’s
a monster in PvP.
4. Edgar – Tanky DPS. He doesn’t really give any protection to your team though, just some crowd control. He’s a reliable front-liner that, in the right element, can dish out solid damage. Think of him as a jack of all trades brawler that shines everywhere, but never too brightly.
5. Nazdan – The best overall DPS in the game. Nazdan is the only character in the game with potentially 2 large AoE skills. His teleport movement helps him close in on targets and make quick escapes, and the 20% lifesteal on his basic attack ensures that he’ll stay in the fight.
6. Garred – Garred has the best single target damage in the game. He’s unusual in that every skill he has is useful, but the standouts are Savage Strike, which at level 3, stuns 100% of the time for 2 turns, and Bloodbath, which does 130% to a single target (and some line AoE).
